PHOEBE!!!!!

I'm in Jersey, editing in the basement of Jason's house. It's late summer, the window is open and the song stops. Out of the window I hear giggling, and immediately I grab Jason's camera and run upstairs and outside, and catch the 2 of them playing some version of hide and seek which Phoebe loves. If you missed the shots of Phoebe eating cherries that Jason posted on his blog a few months ago, you may want to check them out. Babies and cherries equals bright red cherry juice on EVERYTHING! These are some of the shots I captured, please don't overlook Jason's awesome expression.

Vogue Production

An older shoot I was on, probably back in July... This Vogue just hit stands for October. I think these images came out great, Craig McDean uses natural light in so much of his work... It was really great to be there and watch them turn a somewhat sunny day into a beautifully diffused even-lighted situation. Sorry for the nerdy photo terms... but it really amazes me that natural light is still by far the most perfect light.
I was kind of disappointed with the small amount of images they included because we shot at least 7 locations/poses but...... you can see me in the background! I was doing pedestrian control just behind.. so now I'm telling everyone that I was in Vogue. =)





Yes, I am that girl who circled herself in the picture... haha!





By the way, Rachel Weisz is just as gorgeous in real life, and seemed extremely nice. It wasn't her real husband and son in the shot, but her son was on set hanging out riding a tricycle.





These Christian Louboutin shoes are everywhere right now... but seriously- can I get a pair?! I have a slight weakness for shoes... and every time I am on set I cruise the accessory tables and I can't get enough of the shoesssss..... oh man. Louboutin has these 6 or 7 inch pumps that I would totally rock if they didn't make me 6'5'', or if they weren't completely over priced and unaffordable! Oh well, a girl can dream.




One thing about me, I am completely obsessed with music. Completely obsessed. I am always looking to hear new artists, and find anything that inspires me to dance! I am currently listening to:
MGMT- "Kids" and "The Youth"

Meet Richie

Also known as Rachael, to anyone who didn't meet her in college. I played volleyball with her and the nickname Richie took hold and has yet to let go... Anyway, she is my gorgeous new roommate and my new favorite subject. I've shot her before, and I expect to shoot her more in the future... This is the kind of stuff that really gets me excited- just me, a model, some lights and a camera. Please please please let me know if you'd like a session like this for yourself!
